~ Energy and Environment ~

A Note from our President:

“I personally love the style and feel of older cars (pre-1980).  They're fun to drive and are great conversation starters.  I drove those kind of cars as a teenager.  Back then, my car priorities were speed and power.  Now, I'm more concerned about what price we pay for that power.  Not just for the gas at the pump but with the damage the gasoline and oil residue leaves behind.  The debate of gasoline powered vehicles versus other types of energy will go on for years.  In the meantime, my group and I would like to start presenting alternative energy vehicles. Did you know that electric cars were produced ahead of gasoline powered ones at the turn of the last century? They worked, they ran well and they were attractive.  People bought them.  Why did they stop making them? Complicated answers; basically, politics.  In the coming months, we will be presenting cars of the (near) future that do not pollute, are economical and are fun to drive.  And, in our brave, new world of possibilities, politically correct.

We would also like to showcase different forms of energy - not just for transportation - but for various ways of living and surviving on this planet.

We welcome your thoughts, comments and ideas about this topic.  We would like to present ALL points of view (yes, even oil companies!).

Write us.

Sincerely,
Alexander Lehr
